Character Creation Rules and Template
1. Only canons from the approved list below are allowed. Canon applications will be more scrutinized than normal and will require the member to demonstrate that they can fit the role. Do not make carbon copies of canon characters who do not exist yet from the show or use their images as face claims.
2. You must receive permission from the member playing the canon in order to play one of their relatives. This means if a canon is open that you can not make a non canon family member until the role is filled.
3. Pictures will not be used to replace any fields. (If you use them that's fine, but still need the writing.)
4. See the ban list before you write a character. If our population is suffering from over play of certain character archetypes we will post temporary bans so that the population will become more versatile.
5. Do not make a Mary Sue/Gary Stu.
6. Understand and comply to your nations genetics. Mixed lineages are fine, but you should choose which nation's traits are dominant and perhaps have a subtle difference such as eye color.
7. No animal characters, spirits are on the legendary list for restrictions.

1. All canonical information needs to be present or inferred within the application (excluding that of anything past the where we are at in the RPG. The only exception being of course that Aang does not get trapped inside of an ice berg.
2. Canon applications will require two approvals from site admins/moderators.
3. It is highly recommended that you watch Avatar the Last Airbender all the way through, even though most of its content dosn't exist yet it has plenty of cookies to use for personality, starting skill level, and some history about the one hundred year war and how it started. (AND IT IS AMAZING, WATCH IT.) You may or may not be able to find it for free to watch with a google search.
4. Understand that the application review may be more harsh for certain characters because the canon's will form a backbone for the plot.
5. Fill in the blanks for missing content like parents, wives, etc. Do not override the character's canon history or alter them to the point that they are not recognizable.
6. You may receive a review twice, and make revisions. If you fail to make the cut the third time you will be locked from further attempts for a two week period (We can see your IP).. You have fourty eight hours to make your revision before we lock the thread.. We recommend posting it when you know you will be available for a revision, but we will also give your application priortiy over others so that you get the quickest review possible. This is to give other members a chance at applying for the canon.

Below is the list of available canon characters. As an aside, Bumi and Kuzon have already met Aaang and befriended him. You are allowed to apply original content to the character application (Especially Kuzon, Bumi, and Gyatso) as long as it stays within the spirit of the character.
As an incentive for filling these roles, each canon (other than Kuzon) will have an item from the restricted list!

This would be a younger version of Guru Pathik. Not much is known about his past, but he was 150 in Avatar, and a friend of monk Gyatso and the air temples (but not an air nomad himself). [b]Physical Appearance:[/b] At least one paragraph of five sentences describing your characters physical appearance and another paragraph describing their typical attire. No pictures!
[b]Equipment:[/b] One paragraph of five sentences describing any major equipment the character has.
[b]Combat Skills:[/b] One paragraph of five sentences for each major fighting skill, including bending. Describe the level of mastery that you have attained with each fighting style and how you were educated.
[b]Talents:[/b] One paragraph describing the characters hobbies and/or non combat related skills.
[b]Flaws:[/b]One paragraph describing the weaknesses a character has. This can be emotional or physical but must represent a long lasting trouble for the character. More powerful characters are more likely to get approved if they have additional valid flaws. Everyone must have at least one flaw.
[b]History:[/b] One paragraph describing where the character hails from and who his parents were. One additional paragraph for each stage of life that the character has been through (childhood, adolescence, adulthood, middle aged, and elderly).
[b]Personality: [/b]One paragraph to describe your characters nature; and how his personality may have been shaped by his skills, talents, flaws, and history.
[b]Pet:[/b] You may have one pet provided it is mentioned in detail in your character history. You must write at least a paragraph containing each of these elements- pet appearance, pet talents, pet flaws, and pet personality.
