Name: Shui Taro Ginata
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Nation: Southern Water Tribe
Physical Appearance:
(Only difference in profile picture is hair)
Shui has light brown hair. Its thick, spiky and goes an inch past her shoulder. She keeps part of it pinned slightly up in the back, but lets the rest fall on her shoulders. She likes to think of her hair as a waterfall, as its flowing like one. The pin is the symbol of the water tribes. She has slightly tanned skin, but its not very evident. She stands at around 5’3 and weighs 114 pounds. She is fairly fit, yet keeps a feminine figure. Her eyes consist of two colors. One of a blue-gray and the other of a light auburn.
Shuis’ natural attire of clothing consists of a light blue, airy crop top that's embroidered with a brown border. Its a loose fitting top and she loves it. Underneath that she wears a black tanktop. On her left arm she wear the traditional arm band and on her lower arms she wears dark blue soft guards. Her bottoms are dark brown and are usually rolled up until her half shin. They are easy to move and bend in. Shui is always wearing dark gray, short boots. She also has on silver shin guards and black shin socks underneath.
Equipment:
Shui has a simple machete. It is barely 3 foot and is made of silver and iron. She made it after being attacked by a snow leopard when she was 13. It has a light blue leather grip and a matching leather sheath. Shui usually always has it on her. She also has a set of wolf's armor that had once been her father's. She only wears the body garment and not the wolf helmet as her mother keeps it beside her mat. She will only wear it when she goes into battle. She will usually keep it in her hut. She'll only use it if there is a large battle at hand near her village. She is usually always wearing shin guards, so she doesn't wear it during smaller battles.
Combat Skills:
Being trained since she was 3 in the art of waterbending, she has grasped onto the mastering the skill. Shui has put all of her efforts into it and has become powerful in the bending of water. She is only months away from mastering the art. She has the ability to use the water as a form of healing, learning from her mother.
Shui is also skilled with her machete. Not as much as a sword master, but you wouldn’t want to pick a fight with her. She is able to waterbend through her sword if she uses a certain amount of concentration. Her father taught her how to use it and from there, she was good to go.
Talents: Shui’s talents mainly focus around water and healing. She’s good at other things such as art and running. She is able to heal with her waterbending and just natural things. She isn’t really focused on other things she needs to have talent in as she believed she had to devote her life to one thing. She is good with hand to hand combat as well.
Flaws: One of her major flaws is trying to the best of the best. She will often put aside her needs for life to fulfill her duties. She can go for days without sleep or food due to her practicing. She will end up passing out and need to recover. She also has the flaw of stubbornness. She hates people telling her what to do and will always want to do something her way.
History:
Stalin was a young fire bender who lived in the middle of the Fire Kingdom. When he turned 19, he decided he wanted more out of life than serving the Fire Nation Army. He quickly fled the Kingdom and ended up stumbling into a part of the Earth Kingdom. He decided it would be best to pretend he was a non-bender at the time. He lived there for a year.
Fria was a water-master from the Southern tribe. She wanted to explore the world ever since she was little. She had grown up learning to master the art of waterbending, and after doing so, she was allowed to go. She travelled the air temples with the help of an old friend and then went into the fire nation. Last was the Earth Kingdom.
Fria and Stalin meeting had been fate. They ran into each other by accident and Stalin had spilled his rice all over her. He offered her his sash to cover it up. They saw each other a few times before Stalin told her he wanted to take her out. So they went on a date, and another, and another one. They ended up getting married privately at the age of 26 and 27. The happy couple decided to move back to the Southern Water tribe a few months later. They had Shui at the age of 28 and 29. Shui takes most of her looks from her mother. Other than the one auburn eye, she’s exactly like her.
Shui began waterbending at the young age of 3. She still had many things to learn, but could make medium water balls at the age of 5. She often got teased about her eyes and having a dad from the Fire Nation wasn’t exactly a friend magnant. She would often go home to her mom crying. Fria tried to do the best she could to make her see she was normal. They bonded well over waterbending and cooking. Stalin was often away to help the men of the tribe with hunts.
She ended up getting a new sibling at the age of 10. The new baby was a firebender and he looked like his father. He had been named was Piro and was said to only have a small amount of bending in him.
At the age of 15, with Piro being 5, Stalin became very ill. He had been showing signs of sickness for months. Shui and Fria tried to heal him with the water, but it wouldn’t work. Stalin passed away at the age of 43. Fria and her children had been heartbroken and it still haunts Shui to this day.
Now at the age of 17, Shui has began to master the art of waterbending. She is estimated if she keeps training like she is, that she will become a master in the next few months. Piro is just beginning to learn how to create small balls of fire. She found herself a polar bear dog when she was out hunting at the age of 16. The animal had been severely injured and Shui would never leave an animal to die. She healed it and the dog became her best friend.
Personality:
Shui is a very nice girl unless you interrupt her while she’s in the middle of something. She is a good friend and an excellent sister and daughter. She’s very devoted to everything she does and won’t give up even if it seems impossible. She’s a quick thinker when in bad situations. She isn’t one to be very open about her past due to her dad, she still believes she could’ve done something more. That’s why she trains harder and harder. To make sure her skills are top notch.
Pets:
Hiram - Polar Bear Dog - Male
Appearance - Hiram has a soft white coat of fur that covers his whole body. He has bright green eyes and floppy ears. He has a large tail that is often wagging. He stands at a very tall 6 foot when on all four legs. He weighs 300 pounds yet can travel at high speeds. His ear and belly have large gashes on them from when Shui found him bleeding in the snow.
Pet Talents- Hiram can travel at fast speeds and is able to carry Shui on his back. He can travel through the snow and regular land without a problem. He can stand on his back two legs for a minute or two, letting the younger waterbenders watch in excitement. He can swim for about an hour or two in the cold.
Pet Flaws - Hiram isn’t the brightest animal. He’ll often wander from camp or fall asleep on guard duty with Shui. He would do anything for food so its often hard to keep him on task. Shui has pretty good control of him, but sometimes things just don’t really work out.
Pet Personality - Hiram is literally woman's best friend. He is loyal to Shui and always will be. He is very helpful around the tribe, often keeping the children off of the parents hands. He loves everything and anyone. He is fairly territorial and if someone messes with his things, he will often attack them. He’s a good guard polar bear dog but he does get off task. Just make sure there aren’t any otter penguins and you’ll be fine.
