The cuttlefish had been docked in the foggy swamp this time as Mordred sailed there to honor his honor code to bring Linh back to her home one day for a visit. It had been a week since then and Mordred had given Linh as much time as she needed until his door burst open with Linh rushing in as she put down a map of sorts onto his desk.
Mordred studied the map in detail as he read ancient writing that he thought he would never see again.
"This is..... No it can't be! This is a map to Kaizoku's Kingdom!"
Mordred looked over the directions again as it said where to go and what to do.
"Kaizoku was an ancient pirate feared among the nations but what most don't know about him is he was a avatar from over a thousand years ago. It is said his kingdom is a neutral ground guarded by a hidden gate that requires use of all four elements at once. It is also said his riches are all stored down there. I read scrolls about the avatars but most of the scrolls for Kaizoku had been burned and disposed of. Most of what was left were some old songs and a legend about a hidden treasure. The songs sung of the 25th avatar one that chose the life of a pirate and shunned his duties as the avatar as well as stealing from others and killing his foes. 'But at age 25 his life was at an end when a spirit had cut him at every end.' That was the last verse of the song at least"
Mordred opened back up the parchment to show linh a certain part of the map.
"As you can see here the symbols on the map show that we use all four elements at this gate but there is no writing for 'The Avatar' on it."
"The map leads to from the foggy swamp to Omashu then finally Kyoshi Island where the gate is supposedly in a nearby forest next to one of the villages. The gate should be located in an old temple made for Kyoshi in that area."
