Finally some time off. Siku spent his days roving the wastelands of the Southern Water Tribe, looking for any dangers. Many rangers would spend their limited time off with their families, but being a younger man he had no wife of his own and the thought of going back to the crowded hovel of his childhood for a boring visit just didn't seem like a fun time to him. He had hit up the Southern Capital in search of a new lady friend, but they just didn't seem to get Siku's personality. Whatever, he didn't care anyways.
Siku decided to visit his favorite surfing destination, Whale Tail Island. It was a great place to catch some waves and few frequented the island. It took about a half day of travel through the ice flows of the south, but Siku travled it with relative ease by changing the surface of the water into ice. He had in fact become so accustom to walking on the stuff that he barely, if ever, fell into the freezing water anymore.
When he arrived at the Island he took off his cumbersome clothing, beyond that of his shorts. For a normal person it was still much to cold to be out beach going in this somewhat cold zone of the world. Compared to where he was from though, it was incredibly warm. He took one last second to throw his booties (shoes) back onto his feet.
With that, Siku ran toward the beach. He jumped vertically towards the water and pulled some of it up simultaneously. Underneath of him he formed a surf board like sheet of ice, and it slammed against the water. Using bending, he stabilized the wobbling board against the shifting water. After balancing he pushed his hands back behind him and "pushed" which made the board go forward.
