Buzama stood silently in the dark mountains of Kolau with his eyes closed; his choice of dress was not much. He was shirtless, his twelve pack abs in clear plain view. His green sash he usually wore around his black pants was instead wrapped around his head. His signature hat, off and packed away in a nearby rock house he made. No shoes to allow his feet to be more in tune with the earth. He was in full training mode.
Words whispered through his head that were not his but that of his father Earthbending expresses the aspect of neutral jing, which involves listening… and waiting Buzama started to slowly breath in and out listening to the mountains around him. It was near completely silent, the only sound was a faint whistle of the wind. Earthbending also requires decisiveness; when the time comes to strike it must be done without hesitation or uncertainty…Suddenly the eyes of Buzama opened revealing his light green eyes. At the same time he lifted up his right heel and slammed it against the ground. A pillar of earth shot up in front of his right foot and before it even reached its peak of 6 foot Buzama had already rotated his right foot to the right and stomped on the earth again once more raising another 6-foot pillar.
The trend continued as he rotated his body and right foot two more times coming full circle back to where he first stood, four 6-foot pillars of earth now surrounded him. If an earthbender lacks determination, the earth will not respond to their will. Holding his arms out low in front of him as if he were about to engage in a fist fighting match he swiftly rotated his right wrist back toward him creating a half circle in the air as the pillar in front of him had a chunk of earth torn from it shaped like a disk. Just slightly behind that move was his left hand doing a right half circle and bringing that wrist in creating another disk out of the rock from the left pillar. As the earth disks headed toward him from his front and left side he started to twist his body in a block/dodge attempt
The front disk would collide and break apart as his right elbow came to meet it having brought it around to the left and with perfecting timing his left hand managed to catch the left incoming disk by quickly rotating left. Using the force and momentum of the speeding disk he would turn his body to the left and sling the disk into the pillar to the right creating a small dust cloud as the disk broke apart denting the column of earth a tad. Now his stance had him in front of the dented pillar of rock and to his right was the column that had remain untouched and changed. Quickly raising his left hand up, clenching it into a fist and pulling it toward him the pillar in front of him shot out two small boulders about the size of two fists pulled together, at the same time his right foot slide to the right and his heel smacked the ground creating two more of the same sized balls.
As the balls of earth sped toward him he rotated both of his arms to the right and stopped the two balls from his right. He then would stand still as the other two balls of earth slammed into his abdomen, without even grimacing Buzama would rotated his arms back around controlling the two balls and clamming them into the pillar that was in front of him creating another small form of dust from the collision. When the dust settled the column of earth that was in front of him was battered pretty badly now not looking like a column at all but a deformed piece of earth art. Buzama grunted and plopped down on the ground. “This isn’t the best way to train Buzama and you know it so why attempt it? Hmph.” Leaning back Buzama would stretch out and lay flat on his back, his hands coming to rest behind his head as he looked up at the night sky and the mysterious spirit lights. Having seen them already before, his mind was more focused on something else. “Xaio…I wish you were her to help me get out of this training funk…You always seemed to have a joke training session that would windup up being practical.” Closing his eyes once more Buzama spoke out loud. “Maybe I just need to listen and wait more….” He smiled as he continued to lie down, hoping that maybe some rest and relaxation would clear his mind and give him a better idea for training solo.
