Physical Appearance: thick ink black hair peppered with gray around the temples/nape, mostly straight with a little curl at the ends, shoulder-length, almost always up in a loose bun pierced with two unadorned, scuffed jade hair sticks, long kinda raggedy bangs; almond-shaped emerald eyes; a little bit darker than most EK citizens, possible SWT ancestor; pretty, heart-shaped face: high cheekbones, smooth forehead, somewhat broad-nosed but balances well with her full lips; shorter than most, about 4’1, pear-shaped (light on the bosom, heavy on the hips), stubby limbs, big feet, strong calloused hands

Talents: Besides her skills in Bending, Jiao Mei's domestic skills are surprisingly adept, a fact she's not exactly proud to admit out loud--especially to her mother. She's a decent seamstress, as evident by the little pattern she's worked into some of her rather plain clothes, and (believe it or not!) a better cook
Flaws: so bitter. so resentful. so unwilling to admit she could use some training.
History: born in a small EK town off the south-western coast; oldest brother, Wong, died in a farming accident (kicked in the head by an ostrich-horse) five years before Jiao is born; she's up next to fill the void in her parents, mother dotes entirely too much on her, puts all her hopes and dreams that died with Wong back up thinking Jiao will want the same things. omg icant think right now but basically she has a younger sister who gets along with her mother wayyy better and kinda ~steals jiao's man~ omg. i will write more stuff later MY BRAIN DONT WANNA WORK
