Yun-Uk is one of the growing sensations in the Earth Kingdom. His voice is like that of an angel, and his acting can bring men and women alike to tears. However, he has been strictly raised and trained to present himself like a woman. Despite belonging to a lower middle class troupe, he has to follow the cultural gender roles for the more upperclass women rather than that of their actual class, and he must keep up this act as long as he is in the presence of another. Yun-Uk is not given much freedom, and his only true friend happens to be a pygmy puma from the lower ring of Ba Sing Se.

considering his only friend is an animal, yun-uk doesn't have the best experience with human friends. in fact, he has little to none as those he originally believed were his friends ended up betraying him in some way as time progressed. his trust in humans is very limited, and it takes a long time to gain his trust or his loyalty. befriending him takes time, though you will begin to notice subtle changes in the way he acts toward you as time progresses. just remember that he is an actor/actress, so you have to really pay attention to know when he might break character. he really does need friends other than jajeong, though. it can't be sane for someone to only openly talk to a cat.

being skilled in the world of theatre, he does not show his disdain for another very easily. he masks it behind a small, sweet smile while he silently dreams a very gory demise to those that rub him the wrong way. noticeable signs of his negative views toward a person might be being quick to change subjects, eagerly leaving to speak with someone who has summoned him, or just the usual silent treatment or cold shoulder. he never acts on his views toward a person; however, if you intend to harm him, he will start throwing random objects at you. or, jajeong will attack since he is more likely to act than yun-uk.

the romance department is... empty. he has never fallen in love, and he has never had even the slightest of crushes before. he's still a virgin in every way, shape, and form. even for the theatre, he has never actually kissed someone. he makes sure that, if he absolutely has to kiss someone on stage, they put their thumb between their lips and fake it. to be honest, he will probably fall for anyone if the right person comes along. gender, age, social status--it doesn't really matter to him. it will just take time for him to understand the quickening of his heart when they're around. he's open for any sort of romance, from short term heartbreak to long term whatever. think you can be his soul mate? go for it.
