Zilo stood there for a moment looking around at the tribesman. They had begun to wrap the vines and such around his body. They stopped when only his head was sticking out. They seemed to lower the woman from the tree as he gave in to them. It seemed that he had a long ways to go, he still let the lives of others interfere with his battles. Suddenly the warriors began to push him forward. A small sigh escaped his lips as they seemed to be guiding them somewhere. The girl seemed to be just following them as if she knew where they had been. Suddenly they came into an opening as the curtain of vines seemed to be removed in front of him.
Suddenly the bindings on their bodies had been released besides for his. His hands still remained tied. turning his head from side to side, Zilo could see all the trees surrounding them, the village had been carefully placed, as the vines surrounding it where so thick, it would take days for someone without nature bending to get through. Suddenly he was shocked out of his thinking when the girl screamed out something along the lines of Ma. Turning his head towards her he watched as she ran off towards an elderly woman. Finally it clicked in his head that she had indeed been the girls mother, and they hadn't seen each other in years. Tears seemed to come down both of their faces.
The villagers seemed to come out one by one to great the woman back, too bad he hadn't learned her name or he'd say congrats... Either way it felt as if one of the men that had captured him began to look him over. "Aiy, your a big guy ye' be... I didn't think I'd see someone this tall walking through a swamp." Zilo looked down at him with a sharp smile, revealing some jagged teeth, that almost looked as if they could bite through someones arm. "Hahaha.... I suppose it's cause I got lost in here. Didn't help since I first been in here, the swamp seemed to want to kill me, and changing directions on me." The older of the two men seemed to laugh at his comment before turning to look at the girl.
"Well, half of the time we try to make people go around the village, and if they persist on getting as close as you lot did, we'd have to use force to drive them away. But what we hadn't expected was a rampaging animal to be able to force us to use another as a sort of... Uhh.." Zilo looked over at him and hit the man with cold words. "Yeah, a hostage it's a bit cowardly." The bender seemed to looked shocked at the man as he stood there with his hands bound. Suddenly the commotion seemed to die down as the greetings had been over. A small smile appeared on his face as he was lead away from the group. "Sorry, but we can't have you rampaging again, we're gonna leave those on ya." He said looking down at the makeshift cuffs on Zilos hands. With a small shrug the young male followed the two benders to a small makeshift housing.
Inside he sat down and closed his eyes leaning back against a pole in the center of it all. "Oh well, It'll be nice to clear my head a little bit, and if I wanted I could break this cuffs." With a small laugh escaping the man he began to think. Soon enough though it seemed as if the giant had fallen asleep within the small cot. His body was relaxed as he was dead asleep, he knew that the girl would have a lot to discuss with her mother so he'd be here for a while. Without realizing it, he had fallen completely asleep only to awaken to what sounded like incredibly loud music, and people singing. Outside the housing he could see a fire, and others sitting around joking and drinking. The stars in the sky seemed to shine brightly overhead. "Well... Looks like a fun night for them."
Looking down at his hands, still a little groggy the young male broke the bindings by giving them a sharp pull. "If only they had known I could do this with ease... The vines dry out without water on them... And if you go with them easily, as soon as it does they become almost like grass... Easy to tear." Zilo began to rise when he noticed something off in the darkness of the housing he had been in. What seemed to be tree red eyes starred out at him. Freezing slightly, he wasn't sure what he had been seeing... Nothing in this world had red eyes.... And especially none of them had three instead of two... Nor did they appear to be the size of a cabbage head. "Uhh..." was all he could get out at the moment.
